Precision Eugenol: Inside Our Fractional Distillation Unit

Ceylon cinnamon leaf oil is only useful when its eugenol content matches the brief.

The fractional distillation column inside the Amitié Fleur extraction plant

Why eugenol matters

Cinnamon leaf oil is prized for its warm, spicy core, which comes almost entirely from eugenol.

How it works

Fractional distillation separates a mixture by boiling point. We pass steam-distilled Ceylon cinnamon leaf oil through a purpose-built column that concentrates the eugenol-rich fraction.

  • Feedstock: Ceylon cinnamon leaf oil (Cinnamomum verum)
  • Process: fractional rectification
  • Range: 80% to 99% eugenol
  • Verification: in-house GC-MS

On specification

Most of our cinnamon leaf oil leaves the plant between 80% and 99% eugenol, decided by the application rather than a generic target.

We do not sell a number. We hold a customer's number — batch after batch.

One unit, one purpose

We operate a single fractional distillation unit, dedicated to cinnamon leaf oil. Capacity expansion is planned.

Closing the batch

Every finished lot is quantified for eugenol and carries a spectral fingerprint from our six-tier GC-MS laboratory.
